From 3-7 April 2017, Dr Ho Ngoc Son, deputy director of ADC attended a workshop on “Process and outcomes of inclusive and sustainable agricultural and rural development” organized by SEARCA at the University of the Philippines, Los Banos.

The workshop is for managers of university, research institutions and development organizations to discuss about knowledge management. The purpose is to ensure all knowledge both tacit and explicit knowledge will be captured and shared for better learning within and between organizations in the areas of agriculture and rural development. It has been realised that it is important to develop a knowledge management strategy to capture knowledge and to develop a communication strategy to share knowledge. Also, knowledge can be shared through various medium. Social media is a powerful tool to tell story and to share knowledge.
