In order to realize the goal of Gender Equality and economic empowerment for ethnic minority women, the project “Enhancing economic empowerment for ethnic minority women in Son La province through the development of a system specialty rice market in Son La province – WE4EM”, co-implemented by ADC in collaboration with the TABA, with sponsorship and support from the GREAT program.
Recently, on March 31, 2022, ADC Center in collaboration with Northwest Center, the local government held a workshop: "Workshop on Project Summary and Story Sharing of Vietnam's specialty rice business model of ethnic minority women in Van Ho, Son La".

After more than 2 years of implementation, despite being heavily affected by the Covid-19 epidemic, the project has achieved the above-expected successes. To look back on the 2-years journey of implementation as well as share success stories on rice business models of ethnic minority women in the direction of heritage agriculture and discuss directions for developing rice and specialty agricultural products.
