The Training course on The Collaborative Research

From 12 – 13 October 2016,  ADC's representatives participated in the training course on "The Collaborative Research in Bac Kan" organized by iSEE in collaboration with CARE international in Vietnam and the Women's Union of Bac Kan province. The training course is one of the activities under the project “Voice and Rights for Ethnic Minority Women” has been implemented in Phuc Loc and Banh Trach communes, Ba Be district, Bac Kan province. The participants of the training course was the representatives of iSEE, CARE international in Vietnam and ethnic minority women from Phuc Loc and Banh Trach commune, Ba Be district, Bac Kan province.

Ethnic minority women at the training course

The training course has equipped ethnic minority women knowledge about cultural diversity, photo voice and participatory research methods in order to enhance the voice and capacity of ethnic minority women in the two communes Phuc Loc and Banh Trach. Therefore, groups of women will be able to identify and present existing issues of their communities and advocate government authorities and social organizations for solving them.

Group activity

At the training course, representatives of ADC actively joined group's activities as well as shared opinions based on experiences from studies/research that ADC have done in ethnic minority communities in different provinces. This is an occasion for ADC to observe and learn more about the participations of ethnic minority women supporting the implementation of development activities for ethnic minority communities in the future.
