Workshop: “Consultations of initial results of research on compliance LD of households and formation of follow-up studies”

During the time from 20th to 31th August 2015, ADC cooperated with the Northwest Development and Cooperation Center (NWD) to implement the study on baseline about “Ability to comply with the legal timber definition (LD) in Hoa Binh”
On 26th September 2015, Dr. Ho Ngoc Son, Deputy Director of ADC participated in the workshop: “Consultations of initial results of research on compliance LD of households and formation of follow-up studies” in Ha Noi. The workshop had the participations of the Executive board of FLEGT network, experts, and representatives of member organizations in FLEGT network.
The research report of ADC presented about the ability to meet the legal timber of 50 timber plating-exploiting households and 50 timber processing households in Hoa Binh had appreciated about scientific characteristics and the supplementation of necessary data and information for the objectives that network is looking forward to. The activities belonging to the project: “Promoting FLEGT program in Southeast Asia through the active participations of CSOs” implemented by VNGO-FLEGT network.
Through this study, once again, ADC had shown the role as a center with high experience in the field of forestry to the member of the network and partner organizations, as a basin for the development in cooperating with the national and international organizations, networks in the up-coming time.
