The aim is to enhance sustainable agricultural development and natural resource management in the mountainous areas.
Participation of six universities and colleges of Agriculture and Forestry of The Lao People's Democratic Republic in the project
The participated activities of the center:
- Organizing forums for sustainable development for mountainous areas to exchange information among the parties involved in the project.
- Enhancing capacity for staffs of agricultural and forestry development, who are working with partners, the local authorities of Vietnam and Laos.
- Implementing the studies including: farming systems, farming techniques on sloping land, natural resource management, management of community-based forestry, forest land use planning.
