The overall objective of the Forest Component project is to raise living standards and environmental sustainability for poor households in mountainous northern Vietnam. The project will help to increase the income of farmers, protect forest, and river basins.
The centre participated in activities such as land use planning and land allocation, planning and managing community-based forests, constructing village nurseries, forestry investments such as planting fruit and industrial trees, training and collaborating to enhance the provision of extension services.
