Training on "Skills for Gender Mainstreaming in Communication" for the communal Communication and Information Committee

From 16 to 17 July 2018, the ADC and CARE International in Viet Nam organized a training on "Skills for Gender Mainstreaming in Communication" for members of the Communication Committee and Village Heads of the villages of two communes of Thanh Van and Mai Lap, Cho Moi district, Bac Kan province. This is an activity within the framework of the I2I project.

There are 3 main objectives of this activity as follows:
1. Understand how gender equality and the analysis of factors affect the content of gender equality.
2. Identify gender issues in the context of local culture and access to information; Proposing solutions to ensure gender equity in accessing information.
3. Recognize gender stereotypes in the form of information and propose solutions to ensure gender mainstreaming in the development of communication materials.
