Bringing the clean banana to the fair celebrating 25th Anniversary of the Australian Center for International Agricultural Research (ACIAR) in Vietnam

On April 11, 2018, products from the clean banana of Hop Thanh Thanh Van Cooperative and the ethnic minorities in Bac Kan province, supported by the WEAVE project, implemented by ADC and funded by DFAT through CARE International in Vietnam, were exhibited in Aus4Equality booth of Australian Embassy at the fair organized by the Australian Center for International Agricultural Research (ACIAR) on the 25th Anniversary of this center in Vietnam, held in Hanoi to commemorate the cooperation of the two countries Vietnam and Australia in the field of agriculture.
Banana products for display include:
· Fresh banana
· dried banana
· Chewy banana
The Australian Minister of Agriculture has visited, tried and gave many compliments for these products. Participating in the fair is a practical and effective activity of WEAVE project which helped promote the process of supporting Bac Kan ethnic minority people to develop clean and safe agricultural products, especially banana products.
