Regional workshop: “Experience sharing on ethnic minority affairs”

Today- 18th September 2017, the regional workshop: “Experience sharing on ethnic minority affairs”, on the topic of “harmonizing cultural, environmental and economic development for mountainous and ethnic minority areas” organized by Vietnam Committee for Ethnic Minority Affairs in collaboration with Thai Nguyen University, International Labour Organization and UN-REDD programme at Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry, Vietnam. Participants of the workshop are more than 180 representatives from different government agencies, NGOs, and other organizations from Vietnam and abroad.
This is a great opportunity for the ADC and other participants to share their experiences and concerns about the harmonious development of cultural, environmental and economic factors in mountainous and ethnic minority areas, where people's lives are still difficult and unequal.
