From 8th to 9th August 2017, ADC’s staff participated in the training on communication skill in Bac Kan organized by Women’s Union of Bac Kan province and Care International in Vietnam in Bac Kan. Participants of the training were ADC staff, Women’s Union of Bac Kan province, Care International in Vietnam, Board of Coordinators, representatives of banana growers and collectors in Mai Lap and Thanh Van commune, Cho Moi district.

ADC and other participants had the opportunity to learn and share information about important communication skills such as spokesperson’s skills, information-gathering skills, photographing, writing and telling stories. In here, farmers who are familiar with agricultural production activities in the fields, had the opportunity to write and share true stories about their own life experiences in a coherent and expressive way. This is also a great opportunity for ADC, CARE and WU to have better understandings of the difficulties and needs of the people in the project area and have better plans for the coming activities.
