Main objectives: Exploiting and developing genetic resources of Cunninghamia konishii Hayata in Ha Giang province.
Expected outcomes:

Providing knowledge about biological characteristics, propagation and planting techniques.

Assessing the value of genetic resources of Cunninghamia konishii Hayata

Selecting 30 mother trees; building 1 ha breeding forest; 5 hectares of Cunninghamia konishii Hayata plantations.

Building technical guidance of Cunninghamia konishii Hayata plantations.
Implementation outcomes:

1 report about biological characteristics and the value of genetic resources was finalized.

2 technical guidances were documented
-
1 description of seedling standards was developed
-
30 mother trees has been developed and conserved
-
1.5 ha of seedling forest has developed (450 trees)
-
3 ha of concentrated forest has developed
-
2 ha scattered forest (1000 trees) has developed
-
1 masters was successfully guided through the project.
-
11 journals have been published.
