Main objectives:
To conserve, exploit and develop the green Midland tea variety as a basis for breeding selection and production of raw materials for processing special green tea for domestic consumption and export.
Expected outcomes and main activities:

Building the database on argo-biological characteristics, genetic diversity and the value of the green Midland tea’s genetic resources at 3 provinces: Thai Nguyen, Phu Tho and Tuyen Quang.

Finalizing technical propagation processes, new planting, intensive cultivation of Green Midlands tea, processing of special green tea for Green Midland tea varieties.

Establishing the models of seedling garden, new planting, and cultivating Green Midland tea.
