ADC together with more than 50 INGOs and VNGOs participated in the seminar "Suggestions on the amendment to the draft Decree No. 93"

On 14th December 2016, the representative of ADC together with more than 50 Vietnam non-governmental organizations (VNGOs) and international non-governmental organizations (INGOs) operating in Vietnam offered suggestions to amend the draft Decree No. 93.

At the seminar, inadequacies of the draft to amend Decree No 93 were shared by experts from Oxfam, iSEE and the Institute Research on Policy, Law and Development. ADC and other organizations offered lots of contributions to the below problems:

• Regulation on the rights and obligations of the parties receiving funds;

• State Administration for receiving and using foreign aids;

• The process of approval and appraisal of aid;

• Financial management.

These organizations had reached a consensus that representative group will prepare the most scientific and complete draft amendment and send to other NGOs to sign the list of organizations proposing to amend to the draft Decree No. 93 according to recommendations of more than 50 non-governmental organizations.

As the president of NorthNet network, ADC commits to appeal to members of the network for joining to comment and sign the draft Decree No. 93.
