The Event "Happy Day"

From October 13th to 16th 2017, ADC joins with CARE International in Vietnam and Bac Kan Women's Union to hold a series of activities at the "Happy Day" event in Thanh Van and Mai Lap communes, Cho Moi district, Bac Kan province.
With the participation of members from 11 VSLA/LARC groups in Thanh Hoa commune, 8 VSLA/LARC groups in Mai Lap commune, the event "Happy Day" was successfully held.
The event includes volleyball competition, banana showcases, and the “Happiness is in the air” contest among couples from the VSLA / LARC team.
This is an event to create exciting, cheerful atmosphere encouraging members of the VSLA / LARC team on the occasion of Vietnamese Women on 20th Oct 2017 and at the same time to create cohesion among team members and family members. Through the “Happiness is in the air” contest, couples have opportunities to share and understand each other in life, contributing to gender equality.
With the exciting atmosphere, spreading the gender equality movement, Happy Day has received the enthusiastic response and participation of members in both communes.
