APN’s vision is a dynamic and responsive Asia-Pacific community effectively addressing global change and sustainability through innovative and transdisciplinary research and capacity development activities that support policy development and implementation, as well as enhancing the role that civil society organizations and the private sector can play.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ho Ngoc Son - Deputy Director of ADC was honored to contribute his name to the official website of APN.

Over the years, from 2014 to the present, ADC has been implementing 2 projects sponsored by APN: Project 1 (2014-2015) Enhancing the inquiry capacity on climate change for non-governmental in Vietnam, and Project 2: (2017-2019) Using indigenous knowledge to enhance community resilience to climate change in the region of Vietnam. The basic objective of both projects is to provide information and raise awareness of individuals and organizations about climate change. Besides, enhancing community resilience to climate change.

In the framework of the project, various workshops, as well as surveys, were conducted to provide local authorities and people with a better understanding of the impacts of climate change and how to apply indigenous knowledge in dealing with it. It is so proud of the result of the project, the book “Using Indigenous Knowledge in Agroecological and Climate Change Resilience Practices”, developed and compiled by ADC based on models and agroecological practices of using IKs implemented by ADC and non-governmental organizations in many provinces of the country...
